Australian Aid Resource and Training Guide
This Australian Aid Resource and Training Guide (AARTG) is a monthly newsletter which provides information about how community development and overseas aid practitioners can become involved in humanitarian and development activities.
It consists of four sections:
The AARTG was published and edited by TorqAid between 2002 through to 2009. From January 2010, this responsibility has now been taken over by The Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC). We hope to continue to improve the value of the AARTG to the large existing readership.
The information in the AARTG is designed for a number of groups of people including:
- Practitioners involved in Community Development (CD) projects in either urban or rural/outback Australia; or those involved in overseas CD projects/programs
- Volunteers, students or other interested individuals wanting to explore CD or overseas aid work
