On 27 and 28 July 2009 the 5th SEACEN/ABAC/ABA/PECC Public-Private Dialogue for the Asia-Pacific Region was held in Bangkok. FDC’s Executive Director, Craig Wilson, led a session for Asia-Pacific policy-makers on financial inclusion and SME lending. More details are available at www.seacen.org.
After a successful Pacific Microfinance Week in August 2007, the Microfinance Pasifika Network was pleased to convene the second Pacific Microfinance Week 2009 (PMW 2009) in Fiji from July 13 – 17, 2009. PMW 2009 was a week-long series of events, meetings and gatherings of a range of organisations and individuals who have an interest in promoting the provision of inclusive and sustainable financial services in the Pacific.
