Renewable Energy and Energy Efficient Partnership
The Foundation Development Cooperation is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a grant of €100,000 to implement the “Developing Innovative Microfinance Systems to Support Renewable Energy in the Pacific†initiative. The initiative is funded by the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficient Partnership (REEEP), and international multistakeholder partnership which aims to accelerate the market for renewable energy and energy efficiency.The aim of the initiative is to assist in the development of innovative and sustainable microfinance for renewable energy efficient loan products. The initiative will be by implemented by conducting a baseline survey in the three Pacific Island countries of Fiji, Samoa and Vanuatu.
